Anti-Ragging Committee

The committee has been established in accordance with the notification regarding the prevention and prohibition of ragging in the University and UGC Act to prohibit, prevent, and eradicate the scourge of ragging, including any conduct by any student or students whether by words spoken or written or by an act which has the effect of taunting, treating, or handling with rudeness a fresher or any other student, or indulging in unfair means or undisciplined activities by any student or students. With or without the intention of indulging in sadistic pleasure or showcasing power, authority, or superiority by a student over any fresher or any other student, thereof in any freshman or any other student, or asking any student to perform any act that such student will not ordinarily perform and that has the effect of causing or generating a sense of shame, torment, or embarrassment so as to adversely affect the physique or psyche of such fresher orany other student, The committee has been formed to accomplish these goals.
